I
know a woman
She
knows me
She
invited me to tea ..
Will
you have a cup of tea, Sir?

No,
Sir.
Why,
Sir?
Because
I’ve got the cold, Sir.
Where’d
you get the cold, Sir?
Up
at the North Pole, Sir.
What
were you doing there, Sir?
Catching
a polar bear, Sir.
How
many did you catch, Sir?
One,
Sir..
Two,
Sir..
Three,
Sir.. etc.
By
now the happy group of singing, skipping young girls are weaving in and out,
under and back through the fast-turning rope being wielded in the middle of the
road by two of their number.
It
was healthy, communal exercise that taught them a love of rhythm and rhyme and
it certainly helped to keep them slim.
How
did we lose all that??
