It is hardly the wisest attitude to adopt if one is really determined to recover one's lost or stolen property!


This advertisement appeared in the pages of the Newry Commercial Telegraph one hundred and sixty years ago!

I do hope the property and the rightful owner were reunited, though I doubt it! 

Do not insult those you are appealing to. 

(And remember too.. a preposition is a word you ought not to end your sentences with!)
