Before we leave the subject of Gorman's Hairdressers ......


.... when last I called in to Hugh's for a tidy-up, I shared the Salon with no less a personage than Lord Ballyedmond.

Today it was Bishop Brooks. 

Our photo shows Marie-Clare McMahon manicuring the grey whiskers of the renowned Peter McCann of the former Daisy Hill Nurseries.



I'm beginning to suspect it's just for old time's sake that he tolerates the presence of plebs like me at all!
