Satellite winter of '64:

"Baby Please Don't Go",

Jukebox choice with our fish and chips,

"You know I love you so."

Lennon's harmonica wailing

"I Should Have Known Better".

My last tanner spinning

As I re-read that final letter.

While in Tommy Casey's convivial bar

Sea-faring men sank pints of Bass,

At the formica-topped chip-shop table

We drank our parting Cola glass.

.

Satellite winter of '64:

The Rolling Stones our final play:

"You know, I used to love her but -

It's all over now."
