While on the subject of aerial photos, here is one of the Shore Road, Rostrevor.
 A few years ago there was some controversy when the homes in the upper part of the picture - Cahir Linn - were built in front of the historic homes of Shore Road, blocking their view of Carlingford Lough.
Your editor's eldest sister is fortunate to live in the house nearest the sea above. It is an unparallelled location and a beautiful home.
In the middle foreground is the Christian Renewal Centre.
Rostrevor village proper is just out of sight, to the right.
