Do you want to be on television?  Yes?  Are you under 25 years of age?  Are you free from Sunday lunchtime to go to the Arts Centre?  Here's your chance!  Free tickets!!

As the producers (BBC TV) say:

'Imeall Geal is an alternative late night entertainment programme aimed at 15-25year olds. We record each Sunday in the Sean Hollywood Arts centre in Newry and are currently looking for a young audience (14- 25yrs) who would like to be part of the show.  Being a part of our audience would be a great opportunity for those interested in drama, music and media to experience firsthand the workings of a TV studio on their door step. We particularly require an audience for this upcoming Sunday , our audience would be needed from 1pm -5.30pm and free refreshments will be provided.

IMEALL GEAL: New Alternative Entertainment TV Show

10pm Thursday Nights on BBC2 NI from 13th of January until the 20th March.

Irreverent, relevant and passionate;  Imeall Geal (Bright Edge ) is brand new in alternative late-night chat and entertainment!  It will be fronted by three of Ulster’s brightest new presenting stars, Tomaí Ó Conghaile, (BBC Radio Ulster's Blas), Grainne McElwain (Budding TG4 talent) and Eoghan Mac Diarmada (Star of Seacht and Pop4). They will steer an energetic and lively mix of interviewees, music and audience chat with sharp humour and insight.  The show promises to be frank, funny, and unpredictable. Current TV that takes charge!

The lively chat in Imeall Geal will be complemented with big Music acts playing live to a local intimate audience. Acts featuring on the show include Director (Pop simplicity at its best fused with rock). Foy Vance (Grey’s Anatomy theme tune ‘Home Coming’), The Flaws (Recently nominated for two Meteor Awards), Jinx Lennon (Dundalk Folk Hero), Paula Flynn (Forkhill singer of recent Ballygowan Ad fame) and The Delorentoes. Each week we will also showcase the best of Ulster’s unsigned bands, including Newry’s own The Beat Poets, The Flaws and The Olympic Lifts.

Imeall Geal is offering a chance for young budding film makers and pranksters to show their own one minute video blog, short film, comedy act, mini documentary, or rant on BBC2 as part of their programme.

Free Tickets are available for the TV audience members for each show.

Tomaí Ó Conghaile

Tomaí Ó Conghaile, an energetic Gaelic speaker from Killeavy, near Newry, is a presenter on Blas on BBC Radio Ulster. Tomaí, 25, got his first taste of the media at Trinity College Dublin where he was Irish Language Editor of the Trinity News. He had first-hand experience of today’s challenging media landscape as a journalist and Deputy Editor for the Irish language daily newspaper, Lá Nua.

Gráinne McElwain.

Gráinne is from Ballinode beside Scotstown in North Monaghan. Gráinne recieved a degree in Irish and History from the University of Ulster, Coleraine. Her passion is sport, she plays a few tunes on the box and on the whistle and loves fashion! She has spent the last four years producing and presenting sports programmes for TG4 but is now really looking forward to the challenge of taking part BBC’s new studio programme Imeall Geal .

Eoghan Mac Diarmada

23 year old Eoghan Mac Diarmada is a Trinity graduate of politics and Irish. He is currently starring in the new TG4 drama series SEACHT, fronts the music show Pop4 and does regular stints as a radio DJ. On top of that he loves to dance! He just danced as part of the opening act on Rihanna's sold-out Dublin show. Good looking with an easy, self effacing charm, Eoghan will leave the cailiní on Imeall Geal swooning.
