I promised to give you plenty of advance notice of Newry Chamber Music's midsummer event at Lislea Community Centre (Directions ? Through Camlough, round the Lake, up Sturgan Brae and 3 km on).
 The lovely Virginia Kerr (pictured) Ireland's premier Soprano will be the guest of Joanne and David Quigley and the Oriel Ensemble.
Tickets are available from Lislea Community Centre or directly from NCM (028 30830482).
The concert will begin at 8.00pm and entrance is £10.
I strongly advise you not to miss it.
I wouldn't think of it!
