The home team, Lislea Dramatic Players perform Brian Friel’s Freedom of the City on Wednesday 10 March - i.e. tonight!

The action – set in Civil Rights Derry - might seem all too familiar to the older people of the audience but Friel treats sensitively of his home Maiden City.

I am assured by Joe Murphy - a lifelong stalwart of the Lislea Players whose son Cathal plays an RUC man in this production - that this is an exceptionally good performance.  And Joe is not given to hyperbole!

Early attendance is recommended if you like to choose where you sit!
