On a recent trip home Austin Golding supplied Journal with a number of old photos. The one below caught my fancy!
The Welrex factory was on the Armagh Road, on the site where Maypole Interiors etc. do business today.
This bevy of beauties (as the old Armagh Observer would have described them) includes Hazel Connell (nee Aulds) Margaret Gracey, Sandra Walsh and Melita Stafford.
Melita later married our regular reader, Austin Golding. Sadly she passed away in 1992.

I am happy to report that Austin has found happiness again and is now re-married to a lucky English lady.
