There were shocks a-plenty for the home side when Kathleen Barrington announced the results of the Amateur Drama Festival (confined) at Lislea on Saturday night.

There Aidan McpArland won Best Actor for his role as Charley The Gent (Johnny Friendly’s right-hand man) in “On The Waterfront”.
The excellent Walter Bradley took the gong for Best Supporting Actor.
Overall the team came a very respectable Second Place.
But qualification for the All-Ireland Finals is certainly now in doubt!
