Hello Everyone,
You are all very welcome to attend an open meeting at "Canal House", Mary Street, Newry on Thursday 3rd September 2009 at 7.30pm.
The proposed purpose of this meeting will be to form a charitable society called "The Young Ireland Memorial Society" to promote and widen the knowledge of our two local Newry men John Martin & John Mitchel.
Our special guest is to be Mrs Marjorie Harshaw Robie of Ipswich, Massachussetts, U.S.A., who recently published the book, "Dwelling Place of Dragons" and has researched the lives of John Martin & John Mitchel extensively!
