A school monitor in Arizona was recently dismissed from her job after allegedly stuffing weed into the mouths of two pupils at Tucson High School.
‘There is no truth in the rumour’, insisted Principal Karl Shultz,
‘that the weed was marijuana.
We have been deemed a ‘High’ School for decades and we object to the media speculation of any connection to these two things!’
In Texas worried authorities have passed a law requiring a minimum school attendance record. Failure to meet this minimum results in parent’s summons to court.
Of 582 recently summoned to attend court, 241 failed to turn up. Nineteen parents were subsequently given short custodial sentences, to set an example.
