I haven’t forgotten that this is the 60th anniversary of the Meadow estate. Here is an electoral list from those early days. Some of these residents soon moved to other addresses in The Meadow. I am not aware if any of these good folk survive today. This photo has just been received from a local press photographer who happened to be working last Saturday evening in the Canal Court Hotel. The genesis of Derrybeg’s community success came when a group of sportsmen decided to raise funds in order to provide a strip for the local soccer team.
